Galaxy Glamping Dome on Cascade Riverside

This is your opportunity to stay in a 26-foot arctic dome, which has been refurbished into the coolest glamping space right on the Cascade River! This glamping experience includes a full floor-to-ceiling galaxy mural, a King-sized log bed, lighting, a mini-fridge, two optional twin cots, AC, and a woodstove for year-round glamping fun! Outside, you have a private fire pit with chairs and a picnic table, and you are only 30 seconds from the river’s edge.

Good to know

We have a galaxy mural all over the inside of the dome (360 degrees) with a California King log bed, 2 log side tables, two twin camping cots and two windows for ventilation. Both windows have screens to keep out insects, though we rarely have problems with mosquitoes due to our proximity to the river and the natural breeze. We now have a window air conditioner for keeping cool in summer. An outdoor bathroom with two toilets, a shower, and trash cans is available but shared with other campers. You will have a designated parking spot within sight of your space. You will need extra blankets and travel pillows for the single camping cots.

Other Details to Note

European-style waterproof camping linens are available. You will have a bedcover on the main king bed and a waterproof blanket. If additional linens are required, please don't hesitate to request them. The extra single camping beds do not have linens at this time Please note: We have provided a wood stove for heating with sticks. It's very efficient and will have you sweating within 30 minutes if you aren't careful. If you have additional family, please have them stay with us via Hipcamp. Located in the Heart of the Mt Baker wilderness! 3 minutes out of Marblemount, where there are options for food, gas, supplies, etc. Nearby to many mountain, river, creek, and waterfall hiking and walking trails. Might be the most beautiful place in the world.

You can access the dome, bathrooms and showers, a private parking spot, private chairs, a picnic table, and a group campfire. Please note that bathrooms and showers are shared with other campers in the Lil' Bit O' Heaven Campground.

Staying in the dome was an unforgettable experience—equal parts magical and grounding. The host’s communication was excellent from the start; every question was answered promptly and with care, making us feel supported and excited for our trip. The dome itself is breathtaking. At night, the clear skies opened into a canvas of stars right above us—it felt like sleeping inside the heart of the North Cascades wilderness while still enjoying the comfort of a beautifully designed space. The amenities were thoughtful and well-appointed, offering all the essentials to make the stay both cozy and adventurous. What stood out most was the balance between immersion in nature and comfort. Waking up to the sound of the river, falling asleep under the Milky Way, and returning to such a unique and welcoming space after a long day of hiking made this trip truly special. This isn’t just a place to stay—it’s an experience we’ll treasure. Highly recommended for anyone seeking wonder, and rest.🌸

This was such a unique and fun place to stay! Super close to North Cascades National Park and backs up against a river. The view of the stars at night are unbeatable. I would love to stay here again if I’m ever back in the area!

Really cool spot in a beautiful area. Walking distance to a few restaurants in town but very secluded with very easy access to the river. Shower and bathrooms were clean, couldn’t complain if i wanted to!!
